Conway Cougars

If you live in the Conway, AR. or surrounding area and are interested in playing American Legion Baseball next Summer, the Conway Cougars will have at least 2 American Legion teams for the 2015 season:

Junior American Legion Baseball for players 17 years of age and under
Senior American Legion Baseball for players 19 years of age and under

  • If you turn 18 during 2015, you are only elgible for Senior American Legion Baseball
  • If you turn 20 during 2015, you are not age elgible to play American Legion Baseball
  • College players that are age elgible, can only play for the team they were registered on during the 2014 season.

American Legion Baseball Players Selected for Arkansas Team Monday three local baseball players were invited by USA Baseball to represent Arkansas in the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series (NTIS). Bubba Carter, 17, of Conway, Josh Walker, 17, of Greenbrier and Brent Southerland, 16, of Bigalow will compete with other Arkansans for a slot on the Midwest Regional Team in St. Louis MO in August. This is Carter’s second year to make the team. Carter, Walker & Southerland, will join their Conway Cougar teammates in hosting the American Legion AAA Sr. District Tournament at Hendrix College this weekend. Eight Teams from Arkansas will compete. Games begin at 9:30 am Friday 7/18 thru the Championship game scheduled for Tue 7/22 at 7:30 pm.
